Track record

The engineering behind LX Foundry.

LX Foundry Ltd was incorporated on 19 March 2026. The experience behind it goes back further: five years as Lead Developer of Boson Protocol, two years of web3 prototypes before that, and nineteen years in aerospace engineering.

Boson Protocol work belongs to Boson Protocol and its team, and is shown here as our founder's role within that team. Everything from 2000 to 2020 is the founder's own background, from before LX Foundry existed, and is not presented as LX Foundry's work.

Three products built from scratch and published as open source, each with its own case study and status label.

  • Earnest

    Live · Algorand MainNet

Conditional x402 payments: USDC held in escrow until enough buyers join and the promised file is delivered, and refunded on-chain otherwise.

  • Quorum402

    Prototype · Hedera testnet

A proposed x402 scheme for resources that are only released when a crowd pays together, with a contract nobody controls.

  • Held

    Prototype · Base Sepolia testnet

Purchase protection for peer-to-peer deals, with a delivery watchdog and an AI mediator that proposes but never decides.

Boson Protocol is an open protocol for decentralised and agentic commerce: a buyer's money is held in escrow until the item is delivered, and redemption and disputes are handled on-chain. Ludovic joined as Lead Developer in March 2021. The protocol is audited by Omniscia and PeckShield and live on Ethereum, Polygon, Base, Optimism and Arbitrum. In 2026, LX Foundry works with the Boson team.

The roles below match public commit history, and each links to the record. Some Boson repositories are private, so they appear here only where a public package shows the work exists.

  • Core protocol contracts

    Contributed to

Boson Protocol v2, the Solidity contracts behind every exchange (escrow, redemption, disputes), released from v2.0 in 2022 to v2.5.1 in 2026 and independently audited along the way.

  • Commerce dApp

    Core contributor

The end-to-end commerce app for buyers and sellers, built on the Boson SDK.

  • Commerce widgets

    Led

Commit, redemption and finance widgets that any web shop can embed.

  • Core SDK

    Led

The TypeScript SDK at the centre of Boson's core-components monorepo, plus major contributions to its React component kit.

  • Subgraphs

    Led

The Graph subgraphs that index the protocol's data on all five production chains.

  • Decentraland toolkit

    Led

Boson kiosks that sell redeemable items inside Decentraland scenes, published on npm since October 2021.

  • Roblox bridge

    Led

Roblox sign-in and a gate token for token-gated offers, published as an alpha SDK.

  • MCP server

    Core contributor

Boson's Model Context Protocol server, which lets AI agents buy and sell through the protocol. It is listed on the official MCP Registry.

  • Agent builder

    Led

Reference AI agents and integration examples for LangChain, Vercel AI SDK, Telegram, XMTP and email.

  • x402 escrow scheme

    Led

An open escrow scheme for x402 payments: the specification, a reference TypeScript implementation published as 12 npm packages, and a proposal to the x402 standard, opened on 7 May 2026.

Commit history as of .

Before Boson, Ludovic learned blockchain engineering by entering hackathons and game jams on several blockchains and shipping a working prototype each time. These projects predate LX Foundry.

Joins Boson Protocol as Lead Developer

Nineteen years in the aerospace industry, where requirements are written down before anything is built and every integration is verified. Most of LX Foundry's engineering habits come from there.

  • EngineeringDeveloper
  • IntegrationSystem & software integrator
  • ManagementSystem engineering manager
  • DeliveryDevOps team lead

Those habits include writing requirements before code, treating integration as an engineering discipline, keeping verification auditable, and building delivery pipelines that make releases uneventful. They now shape how we direct AI coding agents, as described in how we build.
